Bilbao – Best Places to Stay in the City

Bilbao – Best Places to Stay in the City

Exploring Northern Spain so far I have seen Gijon, Asturias and more recently San Sebastian and Bilbao. So here´s my quick overview of the best places to stay in the largest Basque city.

Top Places to Stay in Bilbao’s Bustling Centre

Bilbao is one of Spain’s most exciting cities. A perfect blend of Basque tradition and bold modernity. With its thriving culinary scene, world-class museums, and walkable old town. The city centre is where most of the magic happens. But before diving into your urban adventure, there’s one thing savvy travellers always do first: drop off their luggage.

Where to leave your luggage in Bilbao?

Using a locker is a smart way to explore freely, especially if you’ve just arrived or have a late departure. In Bilbao, you can find two handy locker locations: one near the city centre and another right by the Guggenheim Museum. These storage spots allow you to move around without dragging suitcases behind you or worrying about the safety of your belongings.

Here’s the list of the top five places to stay in Bilbao’s, offering the best mix of comfort, location, and local flavour.
